Spent my weekend at malaysia as usual. Went in on Saturday at about 2pm. Bf's cousin (ahyi) came over to fetch us at malaysia custom and bf drive the whole day and he loves it. Bring ahyi's brother to see doctor then drive ahyi to permas to work. Then we both drove jusco for our dinner. Had The Fish Manhattan Market for dinner then our favourite Starbuck's Java Chips. And back to popo house to rest early for the next day.
Sunday morning rain is falling, woke up at 8am and left the house at about 9am after ahyi is ready to go out. Then drove about 1 hour down to Kiang Kee Bah Kut Teh 强记肉骨茶 located just off Kota Tinggi, along the trunk road between Johor and Mersing. Baby told me that it was often sold out before noon, that is why we have to wake up early for it. Though it rainy day, but it was still so packed with people and i think more than half were singaporeans cus there was so many singapore cars. lol.
The herbal aroma of the bkt..... 几香一下！Though the meat is tasty, but i never eat cus i don't really eat pork ribs. And i still ate 2 bowls of rice just with the soup and "You Zhar Kway" The soup is so flavorful and not salty at all. I drank the soup without feeling thirsty afterwards. Food served fast, reasonable price. It is super worth it! I will definitely go back there again.
After BKT...
Planned to go swim at Desaru but we did not. Reached there and realised It was super low tide and there is no waves so we change our mind. Wanted to visit the ostrich farm but we couldn't find the place. Wanted to visit the Desaru Fruit Farm, found the place but the admission fee is kinda ex. No nice movie to watch too. So we went to bf's cousin (Ahgirl)'s place to see her son qiqi. Went Giant with her then we split. Me, bf and ahyi went to play snooker then had our dinner at macdonalds then back to popo's place to get our stuffs and headed back to singpaore.
Simple weekend lovesssss....
Doing some research on good food at jb. Next, malaysia good food trip. hahahhahaha!
